SAFETY/ENVIRONMENT
The operation of our Ships shall be in compliance with mandatory rules and regulations, as well as applicable codes, guidelines and standards, recommended by IMO, Administrations, classification societies and other maritime industry organisations.
The Company guidelines are to ensure Safety at sea, prevention of human injury or loss of life and avoidance of damage to the environment and to property.
This is going to be achieved by seeing to:
- That the sea- and shore personnel have an adequate understanding of the Company Safety and Environmental Protection Policy.
- Through a Safety management system for, among others, identify hazards.
- That by regular review and yearly internal audit of the Safety Management System, in order to increase both the sea- and shore personnel skill of the Safety Management inclusive emergency preparedness in marine Safety and Environmental protection.
